    About the Role

    SUMMARY


    Candidates who are based in an E*TRADE state-aligned location will be considered, including remote office.  The Consulting Manager is responsible for the process management, administration and execution of assigned clients’ equity compensation programs. The individual will be assigned to clients as replacement services and/or other administrative solutions on a short-term, transitory basis. The role will require the rapid understanding of each client’s equity compensations plans to provide best in class services while on assignment.

     

    RESPONSIBILITES

    • Manage all aspects of company equity compensation plan(s) including:
    • Internal partners (e.g. Human Resources, Executive Compensation, Finance, etc.)
    • Third party engagements (e.g. Transfer Agent, Brokerage/Service Providers, Payroll Vendors, etc.)
    • Ad hoc and periodic reporting
    • Provide equity compensation expertise and knowledge of practices, trends, and programs as the subject matter expert
    • Liaise with ETRADE Client Services to manage regular Stock Plan events such as Releases and Purchases
    • Project manage equity related optimization efforts
    • Provide accurate recordkeeping of equity-related data, to include:
    • Transactions such as restricted stock vesting, stock option exercises, and grants
    • New hire accounts and terminations
    • Trading blackout windows and Section 16 reporting

     

    Qualifications

    Basic

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field
    • Minimum 3 years of equity compensation administration or related experience

    Preferred

    • Strong customer service skills and excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
    • Strong leadership and negotiating skills
      Self-directed and results oriented
    • Excellent communication skills  
    • Certified Equity Compensation Professional level three preferred
    • Knowledgeable about equity-related accounting, tax, and legal concepts, both domestic and international in scope
    • Strong teamwork skills. Must be able to multi-task and problem solve, learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
    • Enthusiastic and creative individual who is comfortable with rapidly engaging in new client environments
    • Knowledgeable on Equity Edge Online and/or other stock plan administration systems
    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
    • CEP® preferred
