    About the Role

    SUMMARY

    The Lead/Senior .Net/C# Developer will be responsible for leading system / business analysis, technical integration & design, development, deployment of systems, and lead technical activities throughout all phases of the SDLC in support of E*TRADE FINANCIAL– Balance Sheet Management, Accounting and Credit & Risk Management business areas.



    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Participate in ongoing and new projects including SimCorp Dimension and FIS Treasury Workstation.
    • Support existing fixed income, derivative trading systems, settlement systems, investment accounting and treasury systems.
    • Develop and integrate commercial or custom applications/database in conjunction with internal IT and external vendors
    • Define and document functional and technical specifications.
    • Provide unit and system testing functions.
    • Work with business units and Project Manager in user acceptance testing.
    • Work with external vendors and internal business teams on integrating systems and platform, and systems setup.
    • Provide a unified data modeling, analysis, and management environment through data governance, data flow and process flow integration.
    • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
    • Resolve production issues in a timely manner with help of internal and external vendor support teams

    Qualifications

    Basic

    • Minimum of 8 years experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

     

    Preferred

     

    • 8-12 years progressive applications development/integration and support experience for commercial and/or custom application systems environments
    • 2-5 years’ experience in systems development using C#,VB.NET, ASP.NET, Crystal Reports, MS SQL Server, Oracle, XML and ADO.
    • 3-4 years fixed income portfolio, treasury, investment accounting and/or credit/risk management system experience preferred
    • Experience in writing data intensive applications that work with SQL Server and/or Oracle
    • Direct experience using formal life cycle standards and procedures for systems development, integration and commercial systems deployment.
    • Strong knowledge database systems principles/design, data construction and integration of applications systems.
    • Excellent customer service orientation, business communication skills and team orientation
    • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
    • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
    • Understanding of Agile methodologies
    • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
    • Attention to detail
