    About the Role

    SUMMARY

     

    The E*TRADE Advisor Network Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for managing the firm’s relationships with existing advisors in the Network. The SRM is E*TRADE’s key liaison between E*TRADE’s Branch Network and TCA by E*TRADE, and is responsible for ensuring that all contact points with E*TRADE are seamless and that the advisors are highly satisfied with our offering and service levels across product, training, operations, service, and our retail division.

     

    The SRM is responsible for developing strong relationships with contacts at all levels within the advisor organizations as well as renewing and broadening existing advisor agreements.  The relationship management aspects of the role may include explaining our service model and the implementation/migration process, as well as performing onsite or WebEx training for the advisors’ administration teams. SRMs are also expected, from time-to-time, to travel to advisor sites, and attend industry and E*TRADE-sponsored advisor events.

     

    The SRM will also ensure that the Financial Consultants in the Branch Network are fully prepared and trained to appropriately refer customers to the E*TRADE Advisor Network.

     

    The SRM must operate in a manner that is consistent with the risk policies, procedures and guidelines established internally at E*TRADE Financial in addition to the external regulatory bank/brokerage environment.  The SRM must be able to anticipate and proactively manage risk, escalating key issues as needed. 

     

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Work closely with the Head of the Branch Network on strategic initiatives that impact or touch the Advisor Network.

     

    • Collaborate with Branch Network colleagues and other internal partners/resources to ensure the success of the Advisor Network.

     

    • Become the “go-to” point of contact who has the best understanding of the advisor’s overall needs and preferences; share these with internal partners to provide the advisor with a seamless service experience.

     

    • Act as the liaison within E*TRADE for the retail and custody side for the Advisor Network.

     

    • Partner effectively with E*TRADE Financial Consultants to educate them on the Advisor Network.

     

    • Assist in building sustainable incentive, training, controls, and other beneficial programs.

     

    • Utilize extensive business and industry knowledge to build long-term relationships and develop relevant strategic partner relationships that address E*TRADE’s and advisors’ needs.

     

    • Maintain high level of understanding of E*TRADE’s Advisor Network service model, as well as a strong understanding of the firm’s broader capabilities.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

     

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • 8-10 years’ financial services or business to business relationship management experience.
    • Experience promoting integrated business solutions in both large and small corporate settings.
    • Series 7 and 63 registration required or obtained within 90 days.

    • Independent, self-motivated and success driven, yet able and willing to take direction
    • Knowledge of investment industry and equity compensation marketplace preferred
    • Highly developed presentation and facilitation skills gained in a client-facing environment
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills
