    About the Role

    SUMMARY

     

    The Fixed Income Service Specialist is responsible for servicing and supporting our fixed income customers who are primarily self-directed.  They are also responsible for performing unsolicited trade orders and answering any fixed income customer service inquiries.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist clients by providing quotes and placing unsolicited trade orders on fixed income products (brokered cd’s, muni’s, corps, government securities)
    • Work with business partners to help answer and resolve customer issues
    • Educate customers on fixed income investment products as well as qualifying leads for the fixed income sales desk partners
    • Receive a high quantity of inbound calls and provide a quality client service experience on every call
    • Handle all internal and external customer service inquiries regarding fixed income and syndicate trading Desk products 

    Qualifications

    Basic

    • Series 7/63 licenses required (Series 66 preferred), Clean U4
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in the financial service industry

       

    Preferred

    • Fixed Income product knowledge (brokered cd’s, muni’s, corps, government securities)
    • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
    • Flexible, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
    • Ability to interact effectively with clients, co-workers and business partners
    • Knowledge of trading operations functions and regulations
    • Ability to set and achieve goals and work independently
    • Capacity to learn new skills and knowledge on an independent level to enhance personal development and achieve career goals
    • Effective conflict resolution and problem solving skills
