    About the Role



    The Qualified Plan Analyst (QPA) supports the Qualified Plan Department on a variety of team processing needs and is on the front line responding to participants, plan sponsors, and investment advisors. The position requires both the ability to follow established procedures with close attention to details, and confidence to contribute to the team’s collaborative environment, to help drive process improvement and reduce risk. A qualified candidate can multi-task and shift priorities depending on the team’s needs, all while meeting processing deadlines. The QPA will have opportunities to cross train on all aspects of Qualified Plan Administration and will have access to gain industry knowledge.



    • Processes Retirement Plan Transactions
    • Posting Employer Contributions and resolving file submission errors and edits
    • Posting Distributions such as terminations, hardships, and in-service withdrawals
    • Loan set up, monitoring, and maintenance
    • Submits Trade files to the trading department by established daily deadlines
    • Issues checks, wires and ACH payments
    • Responds to telephone and email inquiries from plan participants, plan sponsors, and investment advisors
    • Researches and reconciles out of balance activity daily
    • Navigates and becomes proficient with Relius/FIS system and other proprietary software
    • Cross-Trains to become proficient on daily reconciling, invoice preparation, and Corbel Prototype documents navigation



    • A high school diploma with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience, or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years relevant work or intern experience


    • Must be detail oriented and highly organized
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Effective time management and organizational skills
    • Excellent collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills
    • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Programs Basic
    • Basic knowledge and/ or experience with Financial Service processing and trading protocols
    • Previous experience in benefits administration a plus
    • FIS/ Relius experience a plus
    • Ability to follow established procedures timely and accurately
    • Ability to create and comprehend reports and spreadsheets
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while under pressure of deadlines
