    About the Role

    SUMMARY

     

    The Analyst, Vendor Operations is primarily responsible for the enablement of suppliers within our new E-procurement system. This position requires someone who is able to work independently, is a self-starter, able to respond in a matrixed, fast-paced environment. The ideal individual must have the ability to multi-task while maintaining full attention to details and priorities.

    This role owns the enablement of the suppliers they are allocated. They coordinate between the suppliers, E*TRADE relationship owners, Ariba and other E*TRADE functions to ensure that the suppliers allocated are enabled and ready to operate in the Ariba environment by the date defined in the master project plan. Excellent time management skills with intermediate Microsoft Office skills are required. Superior customer service experience is needed to interact with suppliers and maintaining a positive image to all E*TRADE stakeholders at all times.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage projects related to supplier enablement
    • Coordinate supplier enablement with all relevant stakeholders
    • Organize meetings and calls with suppliers and internal stakeholders for enablement
    • Follow-up with suppliers and internal stakeholders on actions related to supplier enablement
    • Coordinates the communications related to supplier enablement
    • Participates in the organization and facilitation of trainings, WebEx and conference calls
    • Tracks and updates status of supplier enablement project waves and executes reports in Excel
    • Executes administrative tasks in the Ariba system
    • Perform other duties as required or assigned

    Qualifications

    Basic

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred (in business, or other number-oriented subject)

    Preferred

    • Computer skills: Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Sourcing and procurement tools a plus
    • Prior Supplier Enablement experience or experience with SAP Ariba a plus
    • Good communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
    • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Must have initiative and be proactive
    • Ability to organize and prioritize workload
