About the Role


The Managed Account Team Representative will report to the MAT Manager and will focus on relationship management and retention of clients enrolled in E*TRADE Blend Portfolios or Core Portfolios offerings.  Operating as an extension of the Investment Strategy team and partnering with branch Financial Consultants, the Managed Account Team Representative will offer clients a personal connection to E*TRADE Personalized Investments products and will help these clients achieve their investment goals. 

  • Retain and service assigned Blend Portfolios clients while ensuring that all clients receive an outstanding client experience.
  • Conduct regular reviews of Blend Portfolios accounts and effectively address service requests.
  • Conduct relationship and sales discussions via inbound and outbound phone calls.
  • Cultivate current client relationships and identify opportunities to expand these relationships by responding to client needs with creativity and innovation and referring clients to FCs for additional solutions.
    Analyze and evaluate client financial information to refine investment objectives and identify investment product solutions.
  • Support Core Portfolios clients as they call in for help on their accounts.
  • Maintain and update reports accurately.



  • Minimum of 3 years of financial services industry experience
  • Must have Series 7, 63, and 66 (or 65)


  • Understanding of current regulatory requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Extensive knowledge the securities industry and a wide variety of brokerage/banking products and services, especially professionally managed solutions
  • Track record of developing, retaining, and expanding client relationships through excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Effective problem solving skills and experience presenting complex information and solutions to clients and prospects in a way that enables them to make informed investment decisions
  • Comfortable setting priorities and initiating action while working collaboratively within a team environment
