E*TRADE FINANCIAL Corporate Services is seeking a senior professional with skills related to the understanding and application of equity compensation best practices. Advanced Solutions professionals assist clients in addressing complex administration challenges and develop solutions to help clients manage their equity compensation needs This job entails end-to-end responsibility for the development and completion of individual projects and client satisfaction of the work product. This role requires a combination of strategic and tactical problem solving, coupled with strong execution capability. The successful candidate will be an experienced self-starter and have excellent reporting skills, with a proven track record of achieving success in a fast-paced, results-driven organization.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Convert and migrate clients from their legacy equity recordkeeping platform to our proprietary recordkeeping platform, Equity Edge Online® (Stock Option, Restricted Stock, Performance, Cash, Stock Settled, Employee Stock Purchase, etc.)
  • Support clients through a variety of corporate actions, including stock splits, mergers and acquisitions, spinoffs and special dividends
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers and build a strong client relationship through positive client interactions related to data solutions engagements
  • Acquire intimate domain knowledge of existing Corporate Services products and services, becoming a subject matter expert with respect to application of legislative, tax and accounting guidance as it relates to equity compensation, corporate actions and knowledge of E*TRADE systems
  • Partner closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including Relationship Management, Operations, Customer Service and Sales, to ensure that all data solutions engagements produce the desired results
  • Ensure Advanced Solutions project deliverables are fully met, providing solutions that focus on value and quality
  • Help identify best practices and processes to meet client needs, define methodologies and deliver those solutions

Qualifications

Basic

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field is required, with a Master’s degree as a plus 10+ years of relevant industry experience, or with an stock plan administration services vendor

Preferred

  • Strong technical understanding of equity compensation, including end-to-end processes such as Compensation, Payroll, Legal and Treasury tasks
  • Able to project manage migration data, setup and detailed migration phases
  • Experienced with complex reconciliations and analysis of differences
  • Knowledgeable about corporate actions, such as mergers, acquisitions, stock splits
  • Ability to think strategically and have creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to plan and manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills with peers, clients and leadership
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of consultants and interact cross-functionally with multiple business stakeholders
  • Track record of executing strategic solutions and developing strong client relationships
  • Proven business development, client engagement, and project leadership skills.
  • Proven success in developing and deploying best practice solutions for clients
  • Expertise in presentation creation in PowerPoint and Excel (including charts, graphs and pivot tables)
  • Knowledge of MS Access and/or other database management software
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Knowledge of Sapphire, Shareworks, Transcentive, Equity Edge Online®, Certent, Carta Recordkeeping systems preferred
  • CEP/PMP preferred
