SUMMARY

 

E*TRADE’S Corporate Services is the leader in equity compensation administration for public and private corporations driving retail brokerage accounts and assets for E*TRADE Financial Corporation. This position is responsible for managing and delivering high quality services to a wide range of corporate clients and their employees.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing and mentoring client services staff, and maintaining high morale within the team
  • Maintaining appropriate staffing levels (recruiting, hiring)
  • Ensuring Corporate Clients receive high quality services, following departmental procedures, meeting service level agreements, and adhering to appropriate rules, regulations, and securities laws
  • Driving continuous service and process improvements to improve competitive positioning, client satisfaction, productivity and work processes for associates
  • Developing best practices and defining service standards for a specified segment
  • Utilizing strong leadership and negotiating skills to leverage resources across E*TRADE to improve interdepartmental processes and relationships
  • Proposing initiatives that support the Corporate Services vision of being an innovative industry leader
  • Assisting in the development of campaigns for a specified client segment that drive client engagement and retention
  • Developing and continually improving departmental procedures
  • Ensuring procedures are clearly understood and followed by associates
  • Administering all Human Resources aspects of the team including: associate recruiting, career development and training, performance evaluations, compensation, and counseling
  • Providing strategic direction on operational issues, assist in the development of operating budgets, staffing, policy and program development, monitor daily work procedures and productivity, and assist in escalated problem resolution
  • Evaluating client needs, identifying industry trends and keeping in regular contact with key clients to develop referenceable accounts
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with clients and managing growth from a service and operations perspective
  • Maintaining strong understanding of equity compensation practices, procedures, securities regulatory requirements and other processes to effectively manage responsibilities and associated risk
  • Monitoring and analyzing key quality and operational metrics to ensure high service levels and identify improvement opportunities
  • Understanding of all products and services and defining the service experience for the client
  • Driving retention by providing top-notch service
  • Assisting the Client Management and Sales team in presenting our service offering
  • Building relationships with the Stock Plan Administrator and their management team

Qualifications

Basic

  • Minimum 5 years of operational management experience
  • Series 7/99 or obtain within 6 months of hire

  • Sound understanding of equity compensation and brokerage industry
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional analytical and trouble-shooting skills
  • Exceptional supervisory/mentoring, team building skills
